Congratulations to the Unionville Lightning 12u who wrapped up their time with URA with an amazing trip to Cooperstown Dreams Park. The team did a tremendous job going 4-1 in pool play and earning the 29 seed (out of 104) in the bracket. They won their first bracket game before losing to a team from California in a close game. An impressive feat for a small town rec all star team!

Thank you so much to the Unionville community who helped the team achieve this success through fundraising and support! We appreciate you!!

This year, the team also qualified for Southeast PA Cal Ripken States where they advanced to the tournament bracket. Player Dax N. won the golden arm skills competition competing against 31 other players from around the Philadelphia area.

Over their six years together, the team has gone to States three times, won two tournaments and were runners up in others. They’ve had wins and losses, but most importantly, they’ve made a lasting bond.

Good luck boys, as you continue your baseball careers and thank you for always representing Unionville with sportsmanship and competitiveness. Thank you to all the coaches for your time and dedication through the years. You have made us proud!

11U Unionville Lightning are back at the World Series!

The Lightning arrived in Crown Point, Indiana, on Thursday, August 6, and kicked off World Series festivities yesterday with the skills competition, including Speed Relay, Around the Horn, Throwing Accuracy and Home Run Derby.

🏆 Congratulations to Davis Reese, Will Cloud and John Stewart, who took 1st place among all 20 teams in Throwing Accuracy, competing to see how many times they could hit a target at home plate from center field — with the win adding a little extra celebration to Davis’s birthday!

🥎 URA Softball Fall 2026 Registration Is Now Open! 🥎

Join us for another great season of softball focused on fun, fundamentals, player development, and teamwork.

Registration Fees
• 6U: $90
• 8U: $100
• 10U: $150
• 12U: $150

⭐ Register before August 1 and save $25!

The Fall season will run from early September through the final week of October. Teams will typically have one weekday practice and one Saturday game each week.

URA provides jerseys, socks, and belts for all players, along with umpires for 10U and 12U games. Games will be played at the URA Complex and other locations throughout Chester County.

Coaches, assistant coaches, parent helpers, and volunteers are also needed.
