The corn planted in March is over 6 ft tall. Steve wishes he could have planted it all in March. It just grew 3 ft in the last 10 days. It rained most of April, so nothing got planted, but all the crops are in now and most of it looks good. Hope it stays that way. We could use à profitable farming year. So far, crop price are horrible and input cost are insanely high. In this case, we need great big yields. Just keeping you up on the latest.

50+ acres of corn went in the Iowa ground today. Next he'll plant some beans and turnips. Then fence it to try and keep all the neighborhood cows and deer out.
It really hurts to see $6000-$7000 worth of food plots feed someone else's cattle.

The soybeans and corn that were planted in March are up. Unfortunately the weather hasn't allowed us to plant anything in April.

Jared Niswonger, I have the same property that I have owned and leased for 35 years. Not competing with anyone. I was raised as a little boy on some of my property. It's obvious you dont know me. I never ask anyone to agree or disagree with my post. Only trying to make people aware of what is going on and who to contact to voice their concern.

There's always something to do are the farm. It's too wet to plant crops but the hog building needed gate and slat repairs.
Jeff, Andy and I can barely stand up today.
