Tuesday night, our Stayton Lady Eagles took to the pitch for a highly anticipated showdown against the Philomath Warriors, with the conference title on the line!

It was a fierce, defense-heavy battle from start to finish, with both teams evenly matched in speed, agility, and determination. Neither side was willing to give an inch, making every possession, defensive stop, and scoring opportunity a hard-fought contest.

REMATCH. REDEMPTION and VICTORY!

Thursday night, the Stayton Eagles welcomed the Cascade Cougars to their home pitch for one of the most highly anticipated rematches of the season and the Eagles did not disappoint!

After a tough loss in their previous meeting earlier in the season, Stayton came into the night with something to prove. Facing a formidable Cascade squad with both a powerful offense and disciplined defense, the Eagles knew they would have to fight for every opportunity.

The intensity was undeniable as both teams battled for control of the pitch. But it was in the second half that Stayton found the momentum they needed, digging deep and delivering when it mattered most to secure a nail-biting 2–1 VICTORY!

Excellent job Eagles!

The Future of Stayton Eagles Soccer! 🦅

In addition to Tuesday night's exciting varsity matchup against Newport, the Stayton Eagles welcomed some very special guests onto the field during pregame introductions: the next generation of Eagles soccer players!

Our young athletes had the opportunity to walk onto the field alongside the varsity boys, sharing a special moment with the players they look up to and getting a glimpse of what their own futures in Eagles soccer could hold.

It's moments like these that remind us that a strong athletic program is about more than wins and losses. It's about building connections, inspiring young athletes, and fostering a love for the game that carries from one generation to the next.

Thank you Stayton Eagles for being the role models you are for our future athletes and for being the best versions of yourselves!
