Over the past several days, you may have noticed some changes taking place on the south putting greens. Our team has been preparing these areas for new sod as part of our continued effort to improve the experience for our golfers.

With the high temperatures, we also appreciate our golf community allowing our crews the time and space needed to water the greens throughout the day.

ROAD BLOCKED - Avoid area near 51st and Yale

Around 12:25 p.m., a driver hit another car and then a gas meter near 52nd and Yale.

Crews are working to repair the leak and there are no evacuations at this time, but traffic in the area is being diverted.

Please avoid the area until repairs have been made.

Heads up, neighbors!

On Friday evening (8/7), around 8:45 pm a special fireworks display from Tulsa Drillers Baseball and Imperial Fireworks Company, LLC will take place at LaFortune Park Golf Course, for the 2nd Annual Tyson Holahta Memorial Fireworks Show. This show is in remembrance of a very special child who lost his battle with cancer last year. This memorial show will now help to bring joy and a little extra magic to the other children at Saint Francis Children’s Hospital. If you're nearby, feel free to look to the skies and join us in sending love and support to all the children and families in need.
