This is the last loose end from an awesome week in Tulsa for Chili Bowl Nationals when the truck and trailer rolled in the driveway tonight at 7:30 pm sharp. Huge thanks to our road warriors Joe Ransom and Dan Caldwell for making the 25 plus hour journey!
Tonight we’ll all sleep well knowing all of our crew members “family” are home safely and with their loved ones!
Huge thank you to Sue Risner for feeding us like kings, Karen Shaw for her help, Zach Rash, Koy Po***ck, Dennis Richards, Cory Palm, Ken Hron, Carson Shaw, Cameron Shaw for jumping in and helping with the cars and giving their time and talents.
Drivers A.J. Johnson, Myles Tomlinson, and Brady Ransom our newest addition to the GR22 Motorsports family gave it their all this week and in spite of a couple of hiccups, we did really well.
Most importantly my Crew Chief, Rich Shaw who is instrumental in bringing our program to where it is today! He and I and Joe Ransom have spent countless hours working on these cars in preparation for this event and these two guys REALLY are the reason we did so well this year! That Vetbox car was a brand new build and we had never raced it before.
Thanks especially to our marketing partners and sponsors whom we’re struggling to now list for some unknown reason as we couldn’t do any of this without you!!!
There aren’t words to express my gratitude as a team owner. I’m surrounded by people way smarter than I and to say that I’m blessed is an understatement!
Thank you all for an amazing week and being a part of this dream and GR Motorsports!
