Our last Friday night race was good to us. We got all 3 cars to the track (I'm not sure if you realize how much work that alone is) and ready to go early. We ran a dozen test laps in each car and did a little fine tuning to try and squeeze a little more out of each car.
The Honda car was better than it has been in the past few weeks. But we need a little more to guarantee we can stay in front of everyone. Bryson Williams Racing is just plain fast. We've been back and forth all season. He wins. We win. He wins. We win. It's up to the racing gods every time we hit the track with him.
The Animal was nice. We're awfully close to finding these next couple of tenths. Once we find them, we will look for more! She's faster and sticking to the track now that we've worked all the bouncing out of her.
The 160 is just for fun and we've got a lot of work to do here. We're learning it as we go and soon, the tenths will start to shave off. Logan Moreno Racing is a tough one to compete against. He's fast every time he hits the track. We tend to just chase him.

1st in Sr Honda
1st in Sr Animal
2nd in Light 160.

What a great way to close out 2024 Friday night racing at Tulsa Quarter Midget Association.

Thanks to all that support us. We put in the work to put on a good show every race. We've only missed the podium a couple of times this season.
The Little Speed Shoppe and Midwest Suspension Co. always hook us up with great shocks, advice on how to improve our program and are great people. You guys are awesome.
Competitive Edge Racing motors are strong every race. I couldn't ask for better support for our little rag tag team. Thanks for putting up with me!
918 Motorsports is always a great place to pick up parts. You have been nothing but good to us.
Storm Chassis puts up with my stupid setup questions and always has a suggestion to try out.

We need to get Dgomex Media to come out to the races again. We miss you! Your videos are awesome.

We have been quiet the past few weeks because we have had a few weeks of fun races.
'We start back tonight with at least the Sr Honda and St Animal. We're trying to get the 160 ready but the brakes keep giving us trouble. The wreck last race did a number on the car and it's been a struggle to get it race ready again.

Come out and watch tonight. It will be beautiful!

If you can't make it, we will be streaming here.

Thank you for all the support. We work hard to put on a good show and how you enjoy!

With these few weeks off from racing, we went flying at iFLY!

This is way too much fun.

Well, this weekend didn't turn out as we wanted it to. Sunday was rough on us.
Saturday we started 6 in the Sr Honda heat and ended taking 2nd in the main.
Sr Animal was good racing, ending 4 in the Main.

Then Sunday came around.
Sr Honda - starting P4 (I think) in the heat, the gas cap comes rolling out from under the tail cone That's a DQ. Off the track we went.

Sr Animal - starting P2 and the green flag is thrown. We get driven into the wall with P1 and P4. This pops the brake line, bends up the right rear radius rods, bend the rotor and chips a brake pad pretty good.
We parked the Animal for the day. We will bring her back for the next home race.
So, 2 races down. Neither even finished. We got a total of 3 laps in for Sr Honda and never even made it to the start / finish line in Animal.
Frustrating.Back to the pits to get the Glider ready to go in the B Main.

With the DQ in Sr Honda, we start 8 in the B main. There is a bunch of work to do if we are going to make it into the A Main. We worked our way to 2nd place and held it to the checkered flag!
Off to the scales. 292lb.
Intermission.
A main time.
The P2 finish in the B gives me a P8 in the Main.
Time to do it again.
P8 to P2...4 laps left, give up a spot to end P3.
Hell yes! Podium!
Off to the scales. 289lb
DQ for being 1lb under weight.

This isn't how it's supposed to end.
But it did.

Have a good memorial day, everyone.
