Join Christina Sell for a weekend of inspired practice exploring the dynamic relationship between acceptance and growth. Drawing on life-affirming principles that inform Anusara yoga, we’ll investigate how yoga invites us to meet ourselves honestly, engage wholeheartedly with the present moment, and participate consciously in the ongoing process of becoming.
The concept of grace has been understood in many ways across traditions and philosophies—as support, resilience, connection, wisdom, love, or the mysterious force that calls us toward greater wholeness. Whatever language speaks most deeply to you, this workshop offers an opportunity to explore how practice can help us recognize and cooperate with the transformative possibilities already present in our lives.
Through skillfully sequenced asana, precise alignment instruction, and thoughtful reflection, we’ll explore the shape that growth takes in the body, mind, and heart. Grounded in a sometimes-challenging premise of intrinsic goodness, our work together will honor both where we are and where we are headed.
Throughout the weekend, we’ll inquire:
How can we embrace ourselves without becoming complacent?
What allows us to remain open in the midst of challenge and change?
How do alignment, intention, and effort create the conditions for transformation?
What can the practice of yoga teach us about living with greater courage, clarity, and joy?
Expect dynamic movement, intelligent alignment, practical philosophy, and a supportive community of fellow practitioners. Whether you are looking to deepen your understanding of yoga, refine your asana practice, or reconnect with a sense of possibility, this workshop offers an accessible and inspiring experience for students from all backgrounds, walks of life, and faith traditions.
