About: Yin for Recovery is a community-centered yin yoga and recovery class. Inclusive of all types of recovery, this class is designed to use the practices of pranayama, meditation, yin yoga, and yoga nidra to support our recovery. Please bring a yoga mat, and wear comfortable clothing and layers. Journal and pen are recommended.

Decades ago Darren offered a 3-hour bi-weekly class called Radical Expansion. This workshop tis a throw-back to that.

The pose-pace = easy-going.
The vibe = informative + fun.

No woe: each pose, formidable or not, comes with accessible variations.

Note: if you attended the Radical Expansion class in May, aside frOM the sun salutations + pose variations, not a single pose will be repeated.​

About Tanya Witman:

Tanya Witman is an avid yoga practitioner and has her degree in counseling. She devoted her clinical hours to grief counseling, and infuses her practice with a deep reverence for breath, presence, ritual, and love of the body.
