🥊 PROUD OF OUR TEAM! 🥊

Another big weekend of boxing and another opportunity for our fighters to learn, grow, and get better.

🔥 Moses Rodriguez stepped into the ring Saturday at the Walt Hoskins Boxing Show and put on a great performance. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the decision, but that’s boxing. We take the lessons, get back in the gym, and keep working. One result doesn’t define the fighter—the work continues.

🏆 Elias Rodriguez headed out Sunday to compete at the Oxnard PAL International Tournament. He fought Monday and earned his way into the finals. We came up short in the championship bout, but Elias came home with something just as important—valuable experience against great competition that will only make him better.

I’m extremely proud of both of our boxers for representing Reyes Boxing Academy with heart, discipline, and respect. Win or lose, we continue building, learning, and moving forward together.

A huge thank you to our coaching staff for all the time and work you continue putting into our fighters and our gym: Coach Doug, Coach Anthony, Coach Sam, Coach Santos, and Coach Dominick. Your dedication does not go unnoticed. 🙏🥊

A huge thank you to German and Freddy from Dos Leones Boxing Club in Hermosillo, Sonora for opening their doors to us and welcoming Joaquin “El Junior” Camberos into their training sessions. The hospitality and support have been greatly appreciated. 🙏🤝

We also want to give a special thank you to all the professional fighters who shared the ring with Joaquin and helped us with some great sparring sessions, including Pedro Campa, Shakorta Hernandez, Josue Aguilar, Maximiliano, and the other talented fighters who jumped in and gave us quality rounds. 🥊💥

There’s nothing better than being surrounded by experienced fighters who are willing to work together, push each other, and help one another improve. Iron sharpens iron, and every round is another opportunity to learn and get better. 💪🔥

Attention Reyes Boxing Academy members and families:

Reyes Boxing Academy will be CLOSED on Friday, June 5th as we help prepare the gym for Hidalgo’s Boxing Gym’s event, Guerra En El Desierto, taking place on Saturday, June 6th.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding as we take the day to get the facility ready for a great day of amateur boxing and competition. While this is not a Reyes Boxing Academy event, we are proud to support local boxing and the efforts that help our boxing community continue to grow.

We are also excited to announce that 4 Reyes Boxing Academy boxers will be competing on this show, representing our team, our gym, and our community. We would love to see our Reyes Boxing Academy family come out and support them as they step into the ring.

Joaquin “Junior” Camberos will no longer be participating in the June 20th event at Casino Del Sol.

We want to sincerely thank everyone who reached out, showed support, and asked about tickets. The love and support never go unnoticed, and we appreciate every single one of you who continues to ride with Team Camberos. 🥊❤️

The journey doesn’t stop here. Joaquin will still be stepping into action that same day — but this time in Phoenix. We believe this opportunity is the right move and the best step forward in his career.
