Opening Day is a week way! We will begin taking tee times for Friday on Monday morning.

Opening Day is almost here! ⛳️

Mayor Mantello announced today that the Frear Park Golf Course will officially open for the 2026 season on Friday, April 10th, with an opening ceremony at 9:00 AM.

We’re also excited to announce that Troy native Brad Stevens has been selected to operate On The Green Pub & Grub in the temporary tent this season - and as the future operator of the permanent restaurant and event space coming in 2027 at the former Park Pub site.

With 30 tournaments already scheduled, major park upgrades soon underway, and continued investment in Frear Park, we’re looking forward to an incredible season ahead.

Join us as we kick off the season and celebrate everything Frear Park has to offer now and in future!

Thank you to everybody for their support throughout this season.

The people who play the golf course daily is what makes the Park such a special place to be every day.

Thanks to Greg and his staff for the superb playing conditions all year long. It’s truly remarkable what Greg and his staff do on a daily basis.

I’d also like to thank the pro shop staff, starters, rangers, and cart attendants. Their dedication is unmatched and keeps the place moving every day in a positive direction.

I’d like to wish everybody a happy and healthy holiday season and will see you again soon in the spring!

⛳️ As the 2025 golf season wraps up, Mayor Mantello announced the seasonal closure of Frear Park Golf Course after one of its most successful years yet!

Thousands of rounds were played, 35 charity tournaments hosted, and countless memories made. 🙌

Mayor Mantello thanks Josh Buell, Greg Tudor, and the entire Frear Park team for their hard work keeping the course in top shape all season.

The beginning of this upcoming week aeration of greens will be taking place at certain times. 9 holes will be open on Monday and Tuesday. The schedule for Wednesday is still to be determined. All 18 holes should be open on Thursday if the weather cooperates in the first part of the week.
