It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my father, Joe DeLeon.
Many of you knew Joe as the friendly face behind the counter, always ready with a joke, advice on the best fishing spots, recommendations on bait, or even a little mechanic wisdom when you needed it. He truly loved connecting with each of you. The impact he made on our customers, friends, and local families will never be forgotten.
My parents Joe and Earnestine DeLeon, opened Baits-N-More in April 2013 with a dream of creating more than just a bait shop. They wanted a place where people could gather, share stories, and introduce the next generation to the joy of fishing and the outdoors. Thanks to your support, that dream became a reality for over a decade.
As I navigate this difficult loss, I ask that you please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Your kindness, memories, and support mean more to me than words can express.
I will continue to keep everyone updated on the future of Baits-N-More in the coming weeks. In the meantime, if you are able, I would deeply appreciate any support through sharing or donating to the GoFundMe established to help with Joe’s final expenses.

UPDATE: At this time we will be temporarily closed until further notice due to recent health issues with Joe. We will update our Google to reflect this as well. But word of mouth always works best, so please let folks know that we are temporarily closed. We appreciate your support and will keep you all updated. Thank You All.
