They put Mrs. Piggy down last night on a thermal Hog hunt. Harvesting 1 out of the 7 we saw is better then none. We fought through the high winds and cold front that blew in. They had a great time and will get enough sausage back to stack the freezer. This was a first harvest ever for the hunter that got her. Glad I got to help and be a part of that and I know he is now hooked for life. Love passing on the lifestyle and tradition of hunting and harvesting like all of our ancestors before us. The real reward of this hunt and harvest to me was the first time harvest for a new hunter and also knowing the stories the three friends will get to share for a lifetime.
