🧡CONGRATS COACH HEATHER KIMAK ON HER COLLEGE GRADUATION 🧡

Coach Heather recently graduated from The College of New Jersey, where she earned her degree in Mathematics with a specialization in Secondary Education! 🎓📚

Heather’s next chapter includes serving as a high school mathematics teacher and Assistant Varsity Field Hockey Coach at Wall Township High School — a role perfectly suited for someone who has always led by example both on and off the field.

During her outstanding career at TCNJ, Heather:

🏑 Started every game for two consecutive seasons
🏑 Served as Team Captain during her senior year
🏑 Earned NFHCA First Team All-Region honors (2025)
🏑 Earned First Team All-NJAC honors (2025)
🏑 Helped anchor a defense that recorded 9 shutouts and allowed just over one goal per game
🏑 Led the team in minutes played with 1,193 during her senior season

And in the classroom:
📖 4-Time NFHCA National Academic Squad Honoree (2022-2025)
📖 3-Time NJAC All-Academic Team Selection (2023-2025)

Before TCNJ, Heather was one of the most decorated players in Point Boro history, earning B South Player of the Year, multiple All-Shore and All-Group honors, and serving as team captain while helping set the standard for excellence in her program.

Heather embodies everything we strive to teach at Phoenix Elite — leadership, work ethic, humility, and a commitment to excellence.

We are incredibly proud of all she has accomplished and have no doubt she will continue to inspire and impact the next generation of student-athletes at Wall Township High School.

Congratulations, Coach Heather! We are so proud of you. 🧡🐦‍🔥

🔥RISE & DENY 🥅 PHOENIX EDITION 🐦‍🔥

Who doesn’t love a little Phoenix Elite Rise & Deny?

⚡ RISE = Relentless circle attack. Creativity. Finishing. Pressure.
🧤 DENY = Three goalkeepers joining forces to protect the cage at all costs.

One goal.
Two sides.
Zero backing down.

The attackers came firing.
The netminders stood their ground.

So… who came away victorious? 🤔

🔥 The Attack?
🧤 The Goalkeepers?

✴️ Testimonial Tuesday ✴️

“Like many families involved in travel sports, we’ve had a mix of positive experiences while also growing somewhat disillusioned with the broader “travel sports” culture in America.

About a year ago, our daughter asked to join Phoenix Elite. We assumed it would be similar to the other clubs we’d experienced.

It wasn’t.

From the very first practice, things felt different. Players helped set up goals and carry equipment to the field before training. Coaches from different teams stopped to check in with athletes they didn’t coach directly. Communications were organized, thoughtful, and consistent — down to the smallest details. Most importantly, we saw coaches genuinely trying to place girls in positions where they could succeed and grow based on their current stage of development. They talked about goal setting and how to be better teammates.

At first, I kept my impressions to myself because I never want to shape my child’s experience for her. Then one afternoon after a winter practice, she said something that captured it perfectly:

‘The thing about this club is they push you. Sometimes they push you hard to be your best. But I also know they care about me. And they care about us as people.’

That’s the difference.

A lot of clubs can develop athletes. Phoenix Elite is developing people.”

🧡🔥 WORDS FROM OUR PHOENIX FAMILY: Alexandra Meehan, U16, Rising Junior, Southern Regional 🔥🧡

“Being a part of Phoenix Elite has meant so much more to me than just playing field hockey. From the very beginning, this team has been a place where I felt supported, challenged, and genuinely cared for.

The coaches constantly push me to grow not only as an athlete, but also as a person, and they’ve helped me build confidence in myself both on and off the field. What makes Phoenix Elite so special is its family-like atmosphere. I’ve made amazing friendships and learned what it truly means to be part of a hardworking, positive team culture.

Every practice pushes me to improve, and I’m so grateful to be surrounded by teammates who consistently encourage and lift each other up. This program has taught me resilience, leadership, hard work, and the importance of always showing up for the people around you.

Honestly, without Phoenix Elite, I’m not sure I would still be playing field hockey, let alone working toward playing at the next level. I’m incredibly thankful to be part of a team that has shaped me into a stronger athlete and a better person.”

Thank you, Alexandra, for sharing your experience and for being such an important part of our Phoenix Family. 🧡 Your dedication, positivity, and commitment to growth embody everything Phoenix Elite stands for.

Prior to Kean, Shannon competed at the Division I level at Wagner College before continuing her success at Kean, where she started every game during her junior and senior seasons.

A standout at Southern Regional High School, Shannon was a team captain, two-time All-Shore selection, Third Team All-State honoree, and a key contributor to Southern’s undefeated 2020 NJSIAA Central-East Group D Championship team.
Shannon also spent seven years competing with Jersey Intensity, participating in JPOL, JPIL, RCC events, festivals, and showcases throughout her club career.

Our crew absolutely crushed training today and brought the energy from start to finish! 🔥

As we transitioned into our new format—two hours of focused skill development followed by an hour of game play—our athletes embraced the challenge and left it all on the turf.

From our 9-year-olds to our U19s, we couldn’t be prouder of the effort, attitude, and commitment they showed today. Every session is another opportunity to grow, improve, and prepare for what’s ahead.

Always staying ready. Always getting better. 🧡🏑🔥
