Mudjaw Bowmen is the oldest known private archery club in the Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan area being founded in 1953. The Club is located at 6240 Benore Road between Detroit and Stickney Avenues, the Club entrance is set back from the road and is accessed by a stone driveway that extends into Erie, Michigan and the club property
The Club has 24 acres of land which includes beautiful wood

s, a stream, two outdoor archery ranges, a large clubhouse, storage building, and practice area. The fire-pit area is a place where members can gather and enjoy campfires and conversation as well as snacks. The Hunter Range is designed with primarily hunting shots and has 3D animal or hand-painted animal paper targets. The Field Archery Range is designed for target archers and has paper or NFAA official scoring targets. The clubhouse has a large inside shooting range which accommodates up to 22 lanes at a time with a distance of 20 yards or less and 6 designated shooting lines. There is a special meeting room used for membership and board meetings. The kitchen is full service with a pantry and the club has its own food license as well as a club liquor license. These enable members to prepare and serve food and beverages at club functions and to the public during various events with approved licenses as needed. Mudjaw Bowmen participates in the Greater Monroe & Toledo Area Archery Schedule and hosts several public archery shoots throughout the year. Their shoot schedule is published and distributed amongst other area archery/sportsmen clubs and various outdoor sports stores. The club sits on 64 acres of land. A large clubhouse, an equipment shed, covered patio, a hunter's range, a field archery range, and a practice range are on the property.

This weekend, July 26th & 27th is the John C. Sinkovic Memorial 11 Bear shoot. This is a 30 station shoot with multiple targets to choose from on several of the stations. DO NOT miss this shoot. It will be talked about for years to come!

Registration starts at 9:00 am, cost is $10.00, and food will be available for purchase.

Join us this weekend for the 51st Annual American Broadhead Collectors Club meeting, exhibit, and swap meet. This is the largest display of archery broadheads to ever hit the Toledo area. Begins Thursday, June 5th and ends Sunday, June 8th. Admission is free.
We will also host a 2-day outdoor shoot this Saturday and Sunday. Cost is $10.00. Food and drinks available for purchase.

Our annual Wild Game Dinner this past Saturday was a great success. Thanks to all who joined in the fun, and many thanks to our members and volunteers putting in all the hard work to pull off this event every year! We couldn't do it without all the help! Thanks also to the Doin' Work fast pitch softball team for showing up Sunday morning to put the club back in good order! Hope you're all looking forward to another great dinner in 2026!
