That’s a wrap on the 2026 Daybreak Racing season!

We closed out the year yesterday with Thunder River 50K and 25K in the Columbia River Gorge, and we couldn’t have asked for a better finale. Perfect weather, brilliant fall colors, and some of our favorite trails made for a memorable Halloween in the Gorge.

What an incredible year it’s been! A huge thank you to every runner, volunteer, partner, and supporter who helped make this season so special. We’re incredibly grateful for this community and all the memories we’ve made together.

It’s Thunder River race week! Just like that, we’ve arrived at our final race of the year.

What a year it’s been! It feels like we were just kicking off the season, and now we’re preparing for one last Saturday on the trails. We couldn’t be more excited to close things out close to home, on some of our favorite stretches of trail in the Columbia River Gorge. 25k and 50k courses from the PCT to the Bridge of the Gods, Thunder River is a pretty special way to put a bow on the season.

We’re feeling incredibly grateful for all the miles, memories, and people who have made this year so memorable. We’ve got one more race day ahead of us, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

This may have been our favorite edition of Rogue Gorge yet! Stunning fall weather, beautiful trails, and an incredible community of runners, volunteers, and supporters made for a pretty unforgettable weekend along the Upper Rogue River.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped bring this event to life. We’re already looking forward to next year!

Absolutely perfect day on the Upper Rogue yesterday! Rogue Gorge 50k and 50 Mile runners were treated to a bluebird day tracing the course of the wild and scenic Rogue River.

We’re sending off Half Marathon and 12k runners on this crisp autumn morning, but temps are quickly climbing to make for another lovely day!

It’s Rogue Gorge race week!

600 runners, four distances, a gleaming forecast, and some of the most spectacular fall scenery in the Pacific Northwest. Tunnels of golden vine maple, miles of pristine trail along the deep blue waters of the Wild and Scenic Rogue River, and quintessential Oregon camping vibes.

We couldn’t be more excited to welcome everyone to the Upper Rogue for a weekend of running, camping, and celebrating this incredible place. See you out there!

What a day at Perpetua Coast!

Yesterday’s 50K and 20 miler were treated to a beautiful inversion layer, with runners climbing above the clouds into clear skies and incredible views from the Cape.

And we’re not done yet. The Half Marathon and 10K are on deck today for another lovely morning on the Oregon Coast.
