Attn TKR/KMP Karting Family and Friends!!!

ADDED PRACTICE! We are adding a practice for Wednesday June 24th from 6-10pm!! As a bonus we are going to be giving away free ice cream treats to everyone who attends!(while supplies last)

We will be closed this weekend because of the Uphill Truck Races happening at Kuhnle Motorsports Park.

Don’t forget!! Friday July 3rd we will be hosting a practice and Fun Races. We are looking for some new ideas. Relay races, Egg races, Team races, Joker races… multiple configurations. Let’s do this!!! What do you have for us? Jet trucks and fireworks will be part of the evening as well!

July 4th is our scheduled Day Race.

We can add a social cookout at the end of the day. This would take place after the races on Saturday. We would need feedback from those who would want to participate so that we can gauge the interest.

Attn TKR/KMP Karting family and friends!!!

We have a practice on Saturday June, 20th from 1-7pm. Come on out and get in those laps. Make sure to help the newbies.😉

Rocketech Motorsports is attending the Apex Series race at G and J Kartway in Camden so they will not be in Thompson for this practice. The keys are there.

Our next race is on July 4th. It’s a day race so everyone can catch up with family and friends for fireworks. There will be fireworks at the drag strip as well as jet trucks and other cool stuff!!! Don’t miss it!!

July 3rd(fun race under the lights)
We are working on details for this fun race. Ideas that have bounced around are different configurations. Relay races, extended races. Hot dog races… what are your thoughts and ideas? Camping is available Friday night.

We just wanted to thank everyone who came out to Kuhnle Motorsports Park for a great night of KMP Karting! The weather was beautiful and it was truly a great Hot Summer Nights event. Enjoy the podium pics and celebrations.

Attn TKT/KMP Karting Family and Friends!!!

This Saturday, June 13th we are kicking off The Hot Summer Nights Rock N Roll Series at Kuhnle Motorsports Park Karting Facility in Thompson, Ohio!!! This is the first HSN race of the year. It is a 4 race series where your best 3 out of 4 races count towards the championship series!

We will be following our tradition of a unique custom championship series guitar to the winners of each points class. This years trophies are so cool!!! We will also have something special for kid karts as well.

So join us this summer under the lights!!!

Gates Open 1 pm
Registration - 1-3 pm
Warm-ups
Begin promptly at 3 pm
Two 5-minute sessions
Order to be determined day of and can be changed week-to-week based upon family needs.
10 minute break after final kart is off the track
Drivers Meeting​
Kid Karts come to meeting with Karts ready to race
National Anthem
Heats
to begin immediately following National Anthem
5 minutes +2 laps
race ready racing - as soon as track is clear, next group takes the track
Kid Kart Final - 7 minutes +2 laps​
Intermission - 30 Minutes

Attn TKR/KMP Karting!
A couple of quick things.

On Wednesday May, 27th John Paul will be at the track about 11am to start painting the shipping containers. Most of you know how important it is to get this project completed. John has refused to accept payment for this job. If you’re available to lend a helping hand that would be greatly appreciated. If I wasn’t leaving in the morning for the Stars Race in Indiana you know I would be there. I hate to ask for something when I can’t be there myself.

There is a practice scheduled for Saturday May 30th from 1-7. Rocketech Motorsports will not be there. I will make sure that someone has my keys. Have fun and enjoy the day!!

To all of the families and friends who braved the elements and came out for the Liberty Cup presented by Vorex, THANK YOU!!!

It never rained hard just a fine mist most of the day. It did dry up for the features and we thank Mother Nature for that. All day we were treated to some absolutely fantastic racing!!!

Congratulations to those who won the Visa Gift Cards. Also congratulations to Max Vlad who won the Carbon Fiber helmet!

Attn Thompson Kart Raceway Family and Friends!!!

This Saturday, May 23rd is The Vorex Cup at TKR!!! This is our premier race of the season and you don’t want to miss it! We are going to give away some great stuff!!

The Vorex Cup trophies are coming from Sick Trophies! On top of that someone is going to win a brand new Carbon Fiber helmet!! We know what the price of gas and tires are… that’s why we have decided to give away some Visa gift cards!!!! We are giving away three $250.00 cards and three $150.00!!!

So here is what we have decided to do. Every racer competing in the Jr Sportsman/Cadet, Junior, Senior/Masters classes will be eligible to win a new Zamp RZ-66C or youth RZ-48Y Carbon Fiber helmet in your choice of size.

On top of the helmet we will be giving away the six Visa Gift Cards!
We are giving away one $250.00 and one $150 Visa Gift card to each of the three eligible groups.
Jr Sportsman/Cadet, Junior, Senior/Masters. That’s six Visa Gift cards in total! They will be given away by random drawing so every entry will have a chance to win!!!!

Kid Karts!! We haven’t forgotten about you! We will have something special for you as well!!!
