BLACKHEART STRONG! Our FALL RACE SEASON began Saturday in Orlando Turkey Lake with three 500meter gold medal wins for Blackheart - Dragon Boat Racing Team! Our Mens, Womens and Mixed Senior crews competed for the fastest times. The rainy weather forecast held off until after the last race and we were safely back on the bus celebrating. Thank you to GWN and MAJOR LEAGUE DRAGON BOAT for bringing all the race day details together perfectly for all local and regional teams racing! Great to see lots of paddling friends again after a long hot summer!!

What an exceptional fall day in Florida for racing - - making more team memories!

WHAT A RACE TODAY!! Our Blackheart - Dragon Boat Racing Team took three crews to race (Womens, Mens, and Mixed Seniors) at GWN’s Turkey Lake Dragon Boat Races in Orlando and we earned THREE GOLD MEDALS wins! We had tough competition but stayed focused on our race plan — that resulted in our coming over the finish line 1st in every race we were in!

And our teams’ celebration on the bus ride home . . . Priceless! WE ARE BACK for our fall season of racing!

Thanks Dennis Cranmer and Doug Evans for the photos!
