Months ago we made a video on all the features we thought would make up the “ideal” Law Enforcement Sniper R***e. Now we’re finally able to start looking at what’s on the market and comparing them to our list. First up, the Seekins Precision HIT Pro M3!

Our guiding principle since inception has always been to serve the LE Sniper community with everything we do. These videos help get info to all who would be looking for information on new r***e purchases with a spotlight on our specific use case.

The plan is to have as many r***e and optic variations as possible at every class so you can see and feel them firsthand. Get educated so you don’t lock your team into a bad decision.

While filming for our upcoming YouTube video on the ideal LE Sniper r***e with the Seekins Precision HIT Pro, we wanted to demonstrate why we love AW magazines so much.

With an adjustable mag catch to properly fit the mag, zero issues about pressure on the mag causing malfunctions. This r***e was fully supported by the mag on a block of wood. Zero feeding issues.

Hearing that something touched a mag in just the wrong spot and caused a feeding issue shouldn’t happen.

Food for thought when considering agency r***e selection.

*THE METRIC*

The Metric was developed by us to evaluate the LE Sniper as a complete system.

No single skill makes a sniper proficient. Operational performance is the ability to accomplish a mission while managing multiple tasks simultaneously whether it be deployment, movement, equipment management, problem solving, target identification, decision making, and ultimately, accountability.

The Metric is not intended to be a pass/fail event. Its purpose is for the Sniper to finish the evaluation and say “I can do that better next time.” To identify weaknesses in equipment, process, and approach so they become strengths the next time.

Every time we’ve run The Metric, the Sniper has walked away wanting to change something, improve something, or refine something. That’s the goal.

Because an honest evaluation doesn’t tell you what you’re good at. It tells you what to work on next.

This weekend we ran our PRS Prep Course along side the Mason Dixon Precision R***e Series Beginners Match. We had a large group of motivated students looking to learn everything they could while keeping open minds.

This match is unlike anything else in the country and gives shooters the opportunity to try competition shooting with the help of numerous veteran shooter volunteers. It’s been going for over a decade with no end in sight.

The lightbulb moments just kept coming and coming. As instructors, those moments are an addiction and we keep on pushing harder and harder to be better so we keep getting them.

We’re proud to say that all of the Top 3 finishers were students in the class and we had 6 of the top 10. Couldn’t be more proud.

Thank you to the MDPRS for having us be a part of this event, we look forward to it every year!
