Day 1 in Houston! We had a day of traveling a fun!! First we made our way down to Houston, after we landed we went to Buccees for lunch then Andrettis for a day of fun games! Lastly we went to visit the Robonauts center where we saw one of our alumni who now mentors there!

Bedford Express competed at the FIRST in Michigan State Championship at Saginaw Valley State University. We came in ready for tough competition and started strong, winning 2 of our first 3 matches on Thursday.

On Friday, we finished qualifications 3–6 after some challenging matches and mechanical issues, but stayed confident. We were selected as the first pick for Alliance 7 with T-Town Tech (9215) and Gladiators (4398).

On Saturday, we were eliminated in the second round of playoffs in close matches. We also earned the Industrial Design Award for our robot’s balance of form, function, and aesthetics.
