I started Hobby Joggers because I felt that in the running community there was SO much pressure to be the fastest, to run the furthest. If you weren't constantly getting a new PR then you weren't doing it right. I dreaded sharing my race times, afraid that I would be judged for being an "average" runner. By nature I'm not a very competitive person & participate in this sport for the pure joy of it

. For the mental clarity it brings me, for the confidence it gives me & for helping my body be healthier & function better. I know that sometimes it can feel that in order to be validated as a runner, we have to be "the best." If you Google the term "hobby jogger" you'll find lots of descriptions that make it sound like a *bad* thing, described in ways that make you feel like you shouldn't be proud to call yourself a hobby jogger. But I wholeheartedly believe it is the exact opposite. You should EMBRACE it, revel in the fact that you are not being paid to do this, you are not winning glorious titles & gold medals. You chose this sport for YOU & that's amazing. You are allowed to walk, jog, or run at your own pace without feeling shame. You do not have to run a 5k, 10k, half or full marathon to be a real runner. A mile is a mile & I want to support you at your pace, every step of the way. No matter your race, age or pace, all Hobby Joggers are welcome here.

So we teamed up with Yoga Run Co. + YogaSix Temecula to help us all age a little more gracefully ✨

Walk, jog, run, shuffle… all paces always welcome. We’ll head out for some easy miles together, then wind down with a 45 min mobility yoga class. Expect goodie bags, ASICS shoe demo, prizes, and some good energy all around.

• Paved sidewalk/street course
• Less than 100 ft elevation gain
• Stroller friendly (must start behind dogs)
