What is a productive at bat?
I'll give you a hint.
It either produces a base runner (you) without an out.
or
It moves a runner.
or
It scores a runner.
or
It drives pitch counts.
Yes, you can have a selfish so called quality at bat by definition and it can be non productive.
Productive at bats win games.
Check your ego at the door and be productive for your team.
Mature hitters win games.

The Niceville Traveling Eagles and NLB have joined forces.
NLB is honored to align with Dan Buis, his coaches, administrators and alumni.
The Eagles were established in 1999. They have an incredible track record of development, class, integrity and doing it the right way for the right reasons.
Players now have an incredible opportunity to launch their travel ball career with the Eagles at 8u and transition to NLB for 15u-18u high school aged travel ball.

🏆 2027 ‘The Cup’ Expansion… Team Georgia will be added to the Southeast and Junior Southeast Cup. Team Florida will be adding a Junior Cup team in addition to their Upperclass team who won in 2025.

We are excited for the future! We will have 8 states represented in 2027 in Youngsville, La.

Players.
How you warm up before a practice or game tells scouts and recruiters a lot about you.
Simply watching you play catch is very important.
Throwing and catching are the most important aspects of playing the game at a high level.
Move your feet, create momentum, use your front side, get your head over your front foot and throw something you would want to catch.
Be great at throwing and catching and you will have an advantage over your competition.

Three very simple basic things can change careers for high school age players.
Be able to run a 6 minute mile (most players are out of shape).
Be able to throw a baseball 100 plus yards (most players don't long toss).
Be able to bench press 225 lbs (most players think this is power lifting).
Can you do these things?
How many kids on your team can do those basic things?

High School Players.
Recruiting Prerequisite Guidelines.
Want to know if you're physical enough?
How many of these things can you do?
1. Consistently drive the ball over the outfielder's heads with a wood bat.
2. Bench Press 225 plus.
3. Run a 6 minute mile.
4. Throw the ball 90 plus yards.
5. Run a sub 7 60 yard dash.
6. Average college level velocity on the mound.
7. Run sub 4.5 to 1st.
8. Perform vs good competition.
9. Make routine plays look routine defensively.
Players that can do all of those things are getting recruited.
If you can't do them.
Get to work.
