TMB in the community! Alissa had the great pleasure of visiting the folks at Westcott Community Center last week and teaching a tap class for their senior day program. It was a great opportunity to practice what she continually preaches; dance as a cognitive, anti-aging powerhouse hobby! Encouraging balance, new neural pathways and synapses, and of course- the joy of moving together. ❤️ It was well received and she is excited to be volunteering another class next month!

Alissa Bachand is the last of our faculty to introduce. Alissa is TMB's studio owner and director. She is in the studio every day (Mon. - Sat.) This year she is teaching ballet, hip hop, jazz, and children's classes, but you might find her popping into almost any genre. 😉 Alissa is also an adjunct professor of dance at SUNY Geneseo, and works as a dance adjudicator for a number of national dance competitions. TMB has been a home to many dancers for 17 years, and Alissa has been the foundation of that home. Do you have a favorite class or studio experience with Alissa?! 💙 💜

Casey McManus is at the front desk every Monday through Thursday, from 4:15-7 pm! She's our go-to gal for everything from bandaids, to hair ties, to studio questions, and purchases. She is the liaison between our parents, our faculty, our dancers and studio director. If you ever need anything, Casey is there to help and get you the answers you need. We wanted to post Casey's profile today because she is celebrating her birthday!! Can y'all give her some big love as she celebrates her special day?! Happy Birthday Casey!!! 🥳

Sara Kelly is teaching Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. She is a TMB alumna and recent graduate of Nazareth College (where she was active in many dance organizations). She most recently performed at the NYSDEA conference at U of R. You might recognize Sara as she has been backstage at our year end show for years! She's the OG with helping to coordinate all our dancers on the big day. We are so excited to welcome Sara to our staff this year! 💙 💜

Mads Anderson teaches on Monday, Tuesday & Saturday! This year she is teaching hip hop bop, jazz, musical theater, and lots of our hip hop levels, including our adults! Mads has a vibe all her own, and we love every second of being around her. (Not to mention we could watch her move all day). What is one of you favorite parts of being in a class with Mads?!
