Cashmere may be Val’s horse, but what they share goes far beyond ownership.

It’s in the quiet moments.
The way he looks at her.
The trust they’ve built.
The respect they’ve earned.

Some horses leave hoofprints on your heart. Others become part of your soul.

Cashmere’s eyes tell the whole story. ❤️🐴

Good horsemanship doesn’t stop when the saddle comes off.

Today, Dr. Scott helped keep these horses healthy and comfortable by floating their teeth. Regular dental care is an important part of horse ownership, helping horses eat properly, maintain weight, perform comfortably, and stay happy.

We’re grateful for owners who prioritize their horses’ health and make sure they receive the care they deserve. Prevention is always better than waiting for a problem.

Because loving your horse means taking care of the things no one sees. 🐴❤️

On her last day of camp, Charlotte gave Promise one last hug and said, “I wish I owned Promise.” ❤️

Truth is, we hear that a lot around here.

Promise has a way of finding a place in a child’s heart. She quietly teaches confidence, patience, kindness, and the kind of friendship only a good horse can give.

We may not be able to send Promise home with our campers, but seeing kids leave with memories, confidence, and dreams bigger than when they arrived is pretty special.

Some horses carry riders down the trail. The really special ones carry a piece of a child’s heart with them forever. 🐴✨

At horse camp, we teach more than riding—we teach safety, awareness, and confidence.
Today the kids practiced something just as important as staying on: learning how to fall correctly. 🐴

Using a rolling barrel and guided instruction, they learn body control, awareness, and how to protect themselves—so if it ever happens in real life, it’s not fear… it’s training.

Front-row seats to horse care! 🐴

Today the kids got a firsthand look at what goes into keeping a horse healthy and comfortable. Dr. Grace gave them a behind-the-scenes lesson while floating Sundancer’s teeth and cleaning his sheath.

Horse camp isn’t just about riding—it’s about learning the responsibility, care, and routine maintenance that help our horses live their best lives. The kids asked great questions, stayed engaged, and got to see that good horsemanship happens both in and out of the saddle.

85 years young and still riding her horse Bella. ❤️🐴

While sitting right on Bella’s back, Eddie started laughing and announced:

“I’d rather ride a man than a horse!” 🤣

Sorry, Bella.

We love this wonderful horsewoman and the laughter she brings to the ranch every day.

Some people spend their time talking. We’d rather spend ours riding.

Paige and Lady of Letters are a reminder of what we value at Wild Horse Ranch: trust, hard work, and the kind of confidence that’s earned, not given.

The horse tells the truth. The work shows. ❤️🐴
