Reminder:
This Friday and Saturday, April 24th and 25th, we will have a great opportunity available for young breakaway ropers!!! There are still some spots available!!!

Exciting news!!!!
Because of the generous support of one of our sponsors, we are able to offer a great breakaway clinic at a discounted price ($200/student).

💥The clinic is limited to 20 students per day. Each student is permitted to sign up for only one day. If the clinic doesn't fill up in the next 10 days, we will give students the opportunity to register for both days.

💥Students need to be at least 8 years old.

💥Horses will be used. We will be roping the sled and live cattle.

💥April 24th is going to be dedicated to more novice ropers and April 25th will be dedicated to more advance ropers.

Exciting news!!!!
Because of the generous support of one of our sponsors, we are able to offer a great breakaway clinic at a discounted price ($200/student).

Important Peewee Note (Please Read):
💥 Peewee contestants are not required to secure a sponsorship. Peewee kids may either secure a sponsor, pay the membership fee, or compete at the rodeos without doing either; however, Peewee contestants who do not secure a sponsorship or pay the membership fee will not be eligible for year-end prizes.

We shared earlier that Sundance Rodeo Club is moving to a youth-led sponsorship model this season.
This is just a quick reminder of the big things to know:
✔️ Each family is expected to participate in youth-led sponsorships
✔️ Just one buckle sponsor ($150) meets the sponsorship requirement and covers the membership expectation
If a sponsor isn’t secured, a membership fee applies instead:
– $50 per child
– Capped at $150 per family

This approach helps support prizes and awards for the kids, while also giving them the opportunity to learn responsibility, confidence, and how to ask for support in the community.

🤠 YOUTH-LED SPONSORSHIPS 🤠

We shared earlier this week that Sundance Rodeo Club is moving to a youth-led sponsorship model this season.

This is just a quick reminder of the big things to know:
✔️ Each family is expected to participate in youth-led sponsorships
✔️ Just one buckle sponsor ($150) meets the sponsorship requirement and covers the membership expectation

If a sponsor isn’t secured, a membership fee applies instead:
– $50 per child
– Capped at $150 per family

Sponsorship packets, scripts, and the online form are coming shortly.

This approach helps support prizes and awards for the kids, while also giving them the opportunity to learn responsibility, confidence, and how to ask for support in the community.

🌾 YOUTH-LED SPONSORSHIPS — NEW THIS YEAR 🌾

This season, Sundance Rodeo Club is making a shift to a youth-led sponsorship model.

This change is intentional. We want our kids to be more involved by learning how to introduce themselves, ask for support, follow through, and represent themselves and their sport in the community.

We’ve also heard from sponsors who’ve shared that they enjoy meeting the kids and are more likely to support youth rodeo when those connections are personal.

This approach helps us:
• Teach responsibility and confidence
• Build stronger local partnerships
• Continue the prizes and awards our kids work hard for

We know this is a change, and we want to be clear and transparent. We’ve put together a full FAQ that walks through how this works, what’s expected, and what’s coming next.
