The Junior Steelheads youth hockey program is a competitive travel ice hockey program serving the Treasure Valley in Boise, Idaho. The Boise Youth Amateur Hockey Association (BYAHA) is the parent organization of the Junior Steelheads. BYAHA is a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit organization, a member of the Idaho Amateur Hockey Association and USA Hockey, and is dedicated to the first class development of

youth hockey players in the area. Our mission is to provide a positive learning environment for our community’s talented and committed players to gain the maximum benefits of participating in a competitive sports program. The BYAHA endorses the Core Values of USA Hockey: Sportsmanship, Respect for the Individual, Integrity, Pursuit of Excellence, Enjoyment, Loyalty, and Teamwork. We believe in setting and achieving goals, not just scoring them! We hope that all our players and families have a rewarding hockey season. Encourage your player with words of support and pride. Cheer all the players for their efforts. Respect our coaches and officials. We are all here with a common theme; to help our players grow, develop their skills, and ensure that the kids have FUN in the sport of ICE HOCKEY.

Our Play It Again Sports Buy Drive & Fundraiser ends tomorrow, August 22!

Have gently used sporting goods sitting around that could use a new home? Bring them to any of the three Treasure Valley Play It Again Sports locations and let them know you'd like to donate the value of your buy to the Jr. Steelheads. 💙

No gear to sell? You can still participate! Make a $1, $3 or $5 donation at checkout—100% goes directly to the Jr. Steelheads.

There are just a few days left to clean out, give gear a second life, and support local youth hockey!

From August 8–22, clean out your garage, basement, or sports closet and turn your gently used sporting goods into support for Jr. Steelheads hockey.

Here's how to participate:

💙 Have gear to sell? Bring it to any of the three Treasure Valley Play It Again Sports locations and let them know you'd like to donate the value of your buy to the Jr. Steelheads.

💙 Don't have gear to sell? You can still help! Make a $1, $3, or $5 donation at checkout—100% of those donations go directly to the Jr. Steelheads.
