We are incredibly grateful to the Louisiana High School Athletic Association for once again placing its trust in our community and our team. Being selected to host the State Softball Championships for a 27th year, the State Swimming Championships for a 22nd year, and the State Baseball Championships for a 15th year is both an honor and a responsibility that we take very seriously.

These events have become part of our community's identity, and we are excited to welcome student-athletes, coaches, families, and fans back to Southwest Louisiana. Over the years, we have worked hard to build a reputation for excellence, and we remain committed to continuously improving the championship experience for everyone involved.

This success would not be possible without the support of our valued partners, including the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury, Sulphur High School, and Visit Lake Charles. Their commitment and collaboration help transform these championships into memories that will last a lifetime for the thousands of student-athletes and families who visit our community each year.

We look forward to continuing this tradition of excellence for many years to come.

Join us in congratulating 2018 Sulphur High Tor Alum WILL DION for being called up to the BIG LEAGUES with the Cleveland Guardians.

The former McNeese Cowboy (Southland Conference Pitcher of the Year and First Team All-SLC selection), Dion now gets his shot in the big leagues after being drafted in the 9th round of the 2021 MLB Draft.

Our players once again dominated the classroom at the end of the year and we, as a coaching staff, are so proud of them! We expect elite effort on the field but most importantly, elite effort in the classroom. They have met the high bar we held them to in having a TEAM GPA of 3.0 or better.

EIGHTEEN players earned a 4.0
SIX players earned 3.5-3.9
EIGHT players earned 3.0-3.4

THE TEAM HAS AN OUTSTANDING OVERALL GPA 3.61.
