Was a great 1st day of tryouts. It was fantastic to see some new faces as well as seeing returning athletes and the progress they’ve all made over the summer. Thank you to everyone who helped out today. Wouldn’t have been able to do it without you all!!

Good afternoon everyone,

First and foremost I sincerely hope everyone has gotten to enjoy their summer. With that being said I need to share some information with you all.

As some of you may have heard, Chris received a phone call early Thursday morning for a double transplant (liver & kidney). While this is obvioulsy a very good thing, it has left me slightly scrambling to make sure we are all set for tryouts this weekend. He is obvioulsy still in the hospital, sedated and intubated so unable to communicate at this point. I am doing the best possible to ensure that this weekend's tryouts go off without too many hiccups.

Tryout times for both days are as follows:

13/14 : 11:30-1:30

15/16: 2-4

17/18: 4:30-6:30

Had our first free Sunday sessions at Quarter Keg Pub. Had a turnout of 75 boys and girls show up. Had a great time. Was great to see our club players and new faces playing together. Got lots of skill work in.

Free outdoor volleyball sessions for boys and girls aged 10 to 18 years old are being presented by Mass Power Volleyball during the summer. This is our 3rd year of free summer sessions

These are held 2pm to 4pm at the Quarter Keg Pub in Charlton. Start June 28th and will not have a session July 5th. No prior volleyball experience needed. There are 3 courts so we can break groups up by age/experience to make it a great experience for the kids. Please register to attend as there is a limit on the number of players we can take.
