Please join Sara this week for her final few classes at Barre3 Studio City 🧡

Sara has been with us since the very beginning (even before!) and has been such an integral, special part of our team and community. Her presence, energy, and care have touched so many of us. ✨

She’s currently in her Master’s program for Social Work and will be starting her practicum soon which is why she’s choosing to hang up the mic… for now! 🤞While she’s stepping away from teaching, we hope to still see her in the studio, this time as a client, whenever she can.

Join us in celebrating Sara and wishing her all the best as she steps into this next chapter. We love you, Sara and you will be deeply missed 🧡

Meet Abby Smayda, owner of

“I didn’t walk into barre3 looking to change my life. I just needed something that felt good.”

At the time, Abby was navigating a season that felt full in all the ways that can wear you down—balancing work, life, and the constant pressure to keep everything moving forward.

What she found inside the studio wasn’t just a workout. It was a different way of being in her body. It was one that asked her to listen more closely, to let go of perfection, and to trust that small, consistent choices could create real change.

That shift didn’t happen all at once. It built slowly, class by class, until barre3 became something she didn’t just turn to, but something she wanted to share by becoming a studio owner.

Today, as a studio owner, Abby is creating the kind of space she once needed herself: one where people can show up exactly as they are, move in a way that supports their lives, and leave feeling more grounded, more capable, and more like themselves.
