The R.A.D. Throwdown goes down this Friday and Saturday, and we need you to lock in your heat time.
How to win:
•Top male and female times each take home a free pair of R.A.D. trainers.
•Everyone else who shows up and competes gets automatically entered into a raffle for the third pair.
That means you’ve got two ways to win some new shoes. Just show up and put in the work.
The workout:
For Time — 10 minute cap
•10 shuttle runs (25 ft down and back = 1 rep)
•50 wall balls
•10 shuttle runs
•50/40 calorie ski erg or rower (your choice)
Short. Brutal. Designed to move. You’ll pick your station (ski or row) when you sign up.
How heats work:
•Two athletes go at a time, every 15 minutes
•Heats run across Friday, May 15th and Saturday, May 16th
•Pick the time that fits your schedule. Sign up in the Helix app.
Heats will fill up fast, especially the prime slots. Sign up now to lock in the time you want.
Quick reminders:
•This is a member only event.
•Warm up before your heat. There’s no warm-up window inside the 10 minutes, come ready to send it.
•Pace the wall balls. They look easy on paper. They’re not. 50 unbroken isn’t worth struggling through the shuttle runs, plan your breaks.
•Stick around to cheer on the other heats. The energy makes the times faster.
