Competing is about way more than winning.
For kids, it’s a chance to put everything they’ve been working on to the test. They learn how to stay focused when they’re nervous, think through problems in the moment, trust themselves, and keep going when things don’t go their way.
Sometimes they win. Sometimes they don’t. But every time they step on that mat, there’s something they can take from it.
