HOW TO KEEP YOUR BAIT ALIVE LONGER (AND CATCH MORE FISH)

Nothing’s worse than showing up to the water with dead bait… here’s how to keep it lively and ready to catch fish all day long:

Keep your water clean and change it often when you can
Keep bait cool (ice bottles work better than dumping ice straight in)
Add oxygen with an aerator—or gently stir the water if you don’t have one
Don’t overcrowd your bucket (less bait = longer life)
Keep it in the shade, not in direct sunlight
Handle bait as little as possible to reduce stress
