New Instructor Spotlight
Pom Dance Miss. Makenna

Hi! My name is Makenna, and I’m so excited to be joining the SDA family as a Pom Instructor!

I started dancing at 10 years old and eventually found my home studio at SDA, where I spent my competitive dance years training in ballet, acro, jazz, contemporary, and lyrical. Although I’ve always had many hobbies and interests, my heart has always belonged to dance. I discovered my love for pom while cheering in high school. Since then, I’ve continued to grow my passion and experience in the style. I currently train with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Miami Dolphins, and Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders as I work toward my goal of performing in the NFL.
Whether your goal is to make a pom team, build confidence, or simply learn and enjoy a new style of dance, I’m so excited to be a part of your journey! I can’t wait to dance, learn, and have fun together! ♡
