💡 WHAT IS LIGHT IT UP?

This is a community night ride—not a race and not a coaching clinic.
Wheels Up brings out our lighting system and transforms portions of the trail network into a unique nighttime riding experience.
Ride some laps. Hang out with other riders. Bring the kids. Bring your riding buddies. Come for an hour or stay for the evening.

This is NOT just a Wheels Up team event and it is not just for kids.
Youth riders, adults, families, Wheels Up riders, local racers, weekend warriors—come out and ride!
Riders should be comfortable riding the trails they choose and always ride within their own ability level.
💲 $10 MINIMUM DONATION
A $10 minimum donation per rider helps make these events possible while supporting our local mountain bike community.
A portion of proceeds from each Light It Up event will go toward supporting GORC and the Bluff View Trail Network, and Wheels Up Academy youth rider scholarships.
Additional donations are always greatly appreciated!

You can pre-register and donate online, or contribute via Venmo or cash at the event.

LEVEL 1 & LEVEL 2 MTB CLINIC — CRESTWOOD PARK

A little late getting this one posted — it’s been a busy couple of weeks in the world of Wheels Up!

We had another awesome Level 1 & Level 2 Clinic Day at Crestwood Park, working on everything from the fundamentals to breaking down those bad habits we sometimes pick up after years on a bike. We even had a few special guests join us for the day!

A huge THANK YOU to Crestwood Parks for continuing to have Wheels Up out and giving us the opportunity to get more riders learning and building confidence on bikes.

Whether you’re brand new to mountain biking or you’ve been riding for years and want to clean up your technique, come check out Wheels Up MTB.

No clinic on the calendar that works for you? We also offer plenty of private lesson opportunities for youth and adults.

Thanks to everyone who came out!

Now get those Wheels Up and keep them rolling!

ADULT TRAINING DAY AT SHEPHERD MOUNTAIN with Coach Cody.

What a great day on the mountain with an awesome group of riders!

We had some warm weather, but overall it was a great day to be on bikes at Shepherd Mountain. Throughout the day, we were able to work our way through four different trails, spending a lot of time breaking down line selection, body position, bike control, terrain management, and finding different ways to approach the mountain.

One of the best parts of these training days is having a group of riders who are open-minded and willing to learn. Everyone came ready to work, try different lines, make adjustments, and push themselves throughout the day. There were definitely some big improvements from the beginning of the day to the end!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and spent the day riding and training with Coach Cody and Wheels Up. I appreciate you trusting me with your riding and being willing to put in the work!

And for everyone asking about the NEXT Shepherd Mountain Adult Training Day — we’re already working on another date! September 20th is our purposed date coming back!

And yes… I apologize for the slightly delayed post. It has been a VERY busy week in the world of Coach Cody!

Thanks again to everyone who came out! And especially thank you to Amanda and her staff at the mountain!!! You All Rock!!!
