77 Days Until Kickoff 🦅🏈

Today we recognize Adam Ball (’09) as part of our Alumni Jersey Countdown.

A proud Flyer and lifelong wearer of #77, Adam’s football journey began with the Junior Flyers in 2003 before earning two varsity letters and All-Conference honors as an offensive lineman in 2008. Since graduating, he has continued to make an impact both on and off the field—serving as a principal in the Rockwood School District and helping establish the Bayless High School football program, where he coached for six years.

Adam’s message to today’s Flyers:

“Every day is a great day for football. Work hard, trust in your teammates, and success will follow!”

Thank you, Adam, for representing what it means to be a Flyer and for continuing to invest in young people through education and athletics.

Through his relentless work ethic, toughness, and dedication to improvement. His commitment is a testament to the countless hours spent in the weight room, on the field, and in the classroom.

Today we recognize Lindbergh Football alumnus Nick Korte, a dominant force on the defensive line who left his mark both on and off the field.

🏈 2012 Team Offensive & Defensive Lineman of the Year
🏈 2011 Ironman Award Recipient

After graduating from Lindbergh, Nick answered a greater call by serving our country in the United States Marine Corps, becoming a Machine Gunner and later an Infantry Unit Leader. He continues to serve today.

Thank you, Nick, for representing the Flyers with toughness, selflessness, and pride both on the football field and in service to our nation.

Today we recognize one of the hardest working defensive players to ever wear the Green and Gold, Tyler Westrich #82.

🏈 First Team All-Conference
🏈 2x First Team All-District
🏈 School Record Holder for Most Sacks in a Single Game

Tyler was the definition of relentless effort and preparation. His impact on the field helped set the standard for what it means to be a Flyer defensive lineman.

His advice to the next generation of Flyers:

“Do what others won’t today so tomorrow you can do what they cannot.”

After his playing career at Lindbergh, Tyler continued pursuing his dreams by attending the University of Central Missouri and working toward becoming a pilot.

As we continue our countdown to the Home and Season Opener, we celebrate the alumni who helped build the tradition and culture of Lindbergh Football.
