🏷️I’ve hit the age where the trends have come full circle and back again! This is why is LOVE thrifting- I do believe there are “original” things being made now- but for the vast majority of things- they are “inspired” by products that worked in the past. Wooden heart shelves? Had them
Chore coats? L.L. Bean and Martha were rocking those before Anthropologie was founded
All I’m saying is, it may be worth a trip to the thrift or a search on a secondhand website before paying full price for a (more than likely) less quality remake.

🪴When these busts arrived shattered I was determined to try and save them- because I had a vision! Now, we aren’t museum worthy by any means & no one should look closely at them, but they were too beautiful to just throw away! I know they are imperfect now but they bring me joy & I get to decorate with them for years to come.
Maybe this is a sign that just because things may need a little work, doesn’t necessarily mean they are ready for the trash- I loved being able to save these beauties.

🧺When your home is your favorite place, it’s easy to steward it well. Traveling is great and all, but home is truly my favorite place in the world. I want nothing more than to go home and snuggle up in my cozy house. I want my children and their friends to feel loved and cared for here. I want to steward my home well- to make it warm and inviting. To open it as often as possible to my friends and neighbors- knowing that hospitality can warm my heart more than anything.
I love our home and I love sharing my unique style and cozy charm along the way. Making our house 🏡 better one small spot at a time.

👩🏻‍🍳Learning comes to life with eat2explore We absolutely loved our First Explore Family box 📦 It’s jam packed with information on your chosen country, hard to find spices & sauces, as well has 3 cultural recipes to try! I love that this is an immersive experience that the whole family can get involved in. With 24 countries to choose from, you can keep exploring throughout the school year! Which country should we try next?

🧺Been a longggg Summer without many posts- but this one was worth the wait. I’ve been wanting to add texture and depth to our dining room for ages and you know I’m a sucker for a basket- so when I stumbled upon an of my dreams full of unique hanging baskets I knew exactly where I would put finds!

I love this wall so much and all of my type A friends would be stressed with my lack of measuring- but I think it turned out great.

🚗🤭Anyone else think coffee from a metal cup tastes like trash? Listen, I look forward to my 2 cups of coffee every morning & I’m not sacrificing that just because we have errands to run. So catch me with an open mug in my car 🤭 what do we think? Is this you or is this diabolical?

🙌Who else loves a good estate sale? I love finding beautiful pieces for my home + they are even better if I can find them secondhand. I love walking through and seeing how people lived, what they collected, how they put their personal style on things. I love the idea of giving a second life to their treasures.
If you walk through my home, you’ll find a collected, cozy space that feels intentional and comfortable. My goal is to find timeless pieces that I can use for years to come.
