Our U.S. Open Cup journey comes to an end in the second round. Of course, we wanted one more game.
But today, the overwhelming feeling is gratitude.
We’re a small, local club with big dreams, and yesterday was another reminder of just how many people have chosen to believe in what we’re building.
To the families, friends, volunteers, players, staff, Urban Chestnut, our sponsors and partners, our food and drink vendors, and every single person who came out to support us — thank you.
Despite the result, yesterday afternoon was special. People were smiling, kids were playing, families were together, and our community showed up. That means more to us than you probably realize.
And to everyone who followed our Open Cup journey, shared a post, sent a message, bought a ticket, brought a friend, or simply took an interest in this little club from St. Louis — thank you for caring about BOHFS.
We’ll keep working. We’ll keep growing. And we’ll keep trying to give something worth supporting.
The Cup run ends here, but the journey certainly doesn’t.
