Pick up the phone & call a friend. Check in & thank them for the joy they bring to your life.

17 years ago, I picked up the phone & found a message that my friend Eithne was on the plane that had gone down between Rio and Paris....

Profound grief filled me. Regret ate at me. I wish I'd could go back & be a better friend.

Today, on her anniversary, I make extra time to pause, reflect, & see how she continues to inspire me....& I'm pushed to call friends who are far away but always in my heart.

I'm also thinking of all those on AF447 & their families & friends, and saying extra prayers for all. 🙏❤
