Tigers lose 15-5 in 8 innings. Justin Haugo got the start (3 2/3IP 7H 5ER 1K) Brandon Wilhelmi came on in relief (1 2/3IP 5H 2 ER 2K) & Noah Neperman (1 2/3IP 3H 1ER 1K) finished it out.

The offense tallied 12 hits in the night. Jake Poehler, Decker Scheffler, & Tyler Hach all with 3H. Russell Beers, Ryan Sturm, & Noah Neperman all with 1H.

Back at it on Friday @ 7:30 in NU (Johnson Park) for another state qualifier.

Update from yesterday:

Tigers win 11-1 in 7. Trevino goes the distance 2H 1ER 4K. Moriarty stole the show on the offensive side with 4H (all doubles) 3RBI. Lendt, Hach, Sturm, Poehler, & Wilhelmi all with 1H.

Back at it today (Sunday) at 4:30 in New Ulm (Mueller Park).

What a weekend at Riverside Park!

We wrapped up our final home games of the season by hosting the State Class A Legion Tournament on Thursday and Friday, followed by the Regional Amateur Baseball Playoff Tournament on Saturday.

A huge thank you to all of our volunteers, sponsors, players, coaches, and fans who helped make another successful summer at the ballpark. Events like these don't happen without an incredible community behind them!

Over the past three days alone, 346 unique viewers tuned into our livestream, watching a combined 347 hours of baseball. That's outstanding exposure for our sponsors and a great way to showcase Riverside Park and Springfield baseball to fans near and far.

The season isn't over yet! Our Tigers continue their playoff run this afternoon with a 4:30 p.m. game against the Milroy Yankees at Johnson Park in New Ulm.

That’s a wrap for our portion of the 100th Annual MN American Legion State Baseball Tournament. The rest of the Legion tourney continues on this weekend in New Ulm.

We’re back after it at Riverside Park tomorrow morning (Saturday 8/1) with a full slate starting with our game against St James kicking off at 11:00AM.

The rest of the day looks like this:

1:30PM Sacred Heart vs Milroy
4:30PM Gibbon vs Stark
7:00PM Wabasso vs Hanska

On Sunday the Region 2C Amateur Baseball Tournament moves to New Ulm so this will be the final day for baseball at Riverside Park for 2026. Come on out, buy some concessions and most importantly enjoy some awesome baseball!

If you can’t make it to the game or games and still want to check in on the action, remember to check out Sporfie where you’ll be able to live stream all of the action.
