🚨 Summer Coach Spotlight 🚨

Kyle McCarthy

Coach Kyle McCarthy’s wrestling journey began in his hometown of Duxbury, MA where he was a four-year starter at Duxbury High School. As a Div 3 State Champion, New England Runner-Up, and the only All-State Champion in Duxbury’s history, Kyle left a powerful legacy.

His success continued as he earned All-American honors at the AAU Junior Olympics before heading to Sacred Heart University. There, Kyle was a three-year starter, academic All-American, Team Captain, and earned a trip to the Division I National Championship in his junior year.

Coach McCarthy, with nearly 20 years of experience at Duxbury High, is committed to developing athletes who excel both on and off the mat. During his tenure, the Dragons have won sectional championships twice in the past four years and seen numerous athletes place at Sectional, State, and New England Championships. His dedication has earned him Sectional Coach of the Year honors on two occasions.

Family is the cornerstone of Coach McCarthy’s life. As a father of three and a committed husband, he treasures the time spent creating memories with his family. His role as a father has further shaped his coaching philosophy, bringing a sense of patience and humility to his leadership.

Join Coach McCarthy this summer for tough, high-intensity practices focused on live wrestling and perfecting technique. Be prepared to challenge yourself and grow under his expert guidance!

Meet Coach Luke Hutton!

Coach Hutton brings a wealth of competitive experience, technical knowledge, and passion for the sport to our summer coaching staff.

🏆 Division 2 South Sectional Champion
🏆 3rd Place – MIAA Division 2 State Championships
🏆 Marshfield Holiday Tournament Champion
🏆 Top 8 Finisher – Massachusetts All States
🏆 Top 8 Finisher – New England Championships
🏆 James Peckham Scholarship Recipient

Currently, Luke competes at the NCAA Division III level for Trinity College at 197 lbs, where he has also earned recognition as a member of the NEWA All-Academic Team.

As a coach, Luke emphasizes intensity, discipline, technical development, and mental toughness. He is passionate about helping young athletes grow both as wrestlers and as individuals.

We’re excited to have Coach Hutton on the mat this summer, helping our athletes improve on and off the mat!
