Travel Night ✈️🌎

Thank you to those that came out to this event to hear about upcoming trips and get a sneak peak at 2028 trips!

What a great weekend underwater!

Congratulations to Lauren & Katie for completing their Open Water certification!

Great job to Arrash, Misty, and Glen for completing their Referral Diver portion of Open Water class. We're excited for you all to complete your certification soon!

We also had a fun father/daughter experience with our Try Scuba on Sunday. Lily got to experience her first time underwater with her dad William!

We can't wait to see where you all go next in your scuba adventure 😄

We are so happy to partner with Springfield Public Schools, Outdoor Pursuit program to allow the experience of a Try Scuba! 13 students plus their instructor got to discover the underwater world of diving! Opportunities like this encourage exploration, build confidence, and allow students to step outside of their comfort zone to try something new!

Thank you to our instructors Joyce, Zach, Dave, and Jeff for helping make this awesome opportunity happen!

🧠 There’s more than one way to learn to swim!

We understand that everyone learns a little differently, which is why we use the three learning styles in our swim school:

Seeing | Hearing | Doing

👀 Visual learners benefit from watching their instructor demonstrate a skill.
👂 Auditory learners learn through verbal instructions, cues, and feedback.
💦 Kinesthetic learners learn by practice skills and learning through movement.

By combining all three approaches, we help swimmers understand new skills, build confidence, and make progress by creating more opportunities for every swimmer to succeed!

🦀 The crab walk & why it’s important-

Wall safety is a part of water safety! In our swim school curriculum, learning to get back to the wall and crawl to a safe exit point are some of the first things we teach. Every week, we cover safety and what to do in different situations!

Questions kids learn the answer to and how to do:
🌊 What do you do if you fall in the pool?
🛶 What do you do if you fall off a boat?

And a bonus safety question:
🛟 What do you do if your friend falls in or needs saved?

Does your child know what to do in each one of these situations?

✨ Sunday Staff Spotlight ✨

A series where you get to know the people behind the faces you see each week & learn some fun facts about them!

Meet Quinn! He is one of our two Aquatics Experience Leads here in Springfield. Quinn went to state for butterfly in high school. He is currently attending college by day and you can find him on the deck or in the pool in the evenings. He is also working towards becoming a high school swim coach and puts his heart and knowledge into all he does here at Diventures!
