🚴 **Ride the legacy. Earn the story.** 🚴
This September, the Capital City Century rolls into its **54th year** — and 2026 makes it extra special. We're celebrating right alongside the **100th anniversary of historic Route 66.** 🛣️
📅 Saturday, September 19, 2026
📍 Start & finish at the Sherman Athletic Club, Sherman, IL

All four routes roll out onto the Heritage Route 66 Multiuse Trail before heading into the scenic countryside on low-traffic roads:
🔹 100-Mile Century
🔹 66-Mile (metric century +3, for Route 66)
🔹 40-Mile
🔹 20-Mile

This isn't a race — it's a celebration of endurance and community. Timing chips for every rider, fully stocked rest stops, mechanical support, SAG drivers on route, and a post-ride meal + beverage to cap the day. Because at the CCC, no one rides alone. 🤝
🎁 The first 350 registrants get a commemorative pint glass + a brand-new finisher medal honoring both the ride and Route 66's centennial.
