These two have always been one of my favorite group lesson duos. 💙⛳️

A 6-year-old and his 3-year-old little brother who show up ready to learn, ready to listen, and most importantly, ready to have fun together.

Watching their golf skills improve is heartwarming, but seeing the brotherly bond and the way they look out for each other is even more precious.

It feels like yesterday they were just getting started, and now they’re growing up right before my eyes.

Grateful for every lesson with these two little dudes.

🚀 B$ does it again 🚀

First she traded 9-hole tournaments for 18-hole tournaments. 💪🏼

Then she traded competing against girls 12 & under for the 18 & under division. 📈

And here she is… still winning. 🏆

Not only did she take home the title, she won by 6 strokes — overtaking the high school girls on the leaderboard.

One of the cool perks of playing great golf? An invitation to compete at Pinehurst next month on the national stage. 🇺🇸⛳️

Proud of the work. Proud of the growth. Proud of the competitor she’s becoming. 🥊

How special that it happened at the course they now call home — Towhee Club. Moments like these never get old. Watching the hard work pay off and being there to celebrate it with my people is what it’s all about!

Name another sport where the practice environment is completely different than the actual game. 🤯

🏀 Basketball? Regulation hoop. Full court.
🎾 Tennis? Same court. Same setup.
🏈 Football? Practice fields mirror game day.
⚾️ Baseball? Same diamond. Same plates.

But golf?

We grind on flat range beating the same club over and over…

then expect it to transfer seamlessly onto uneven lies, pressure situations, changing weather, visuals, decisions, and scoring.

That’s why transfer practice and on-course sessions mean everything to me.

Learning a golf swing and learning how to PLAY golf are two completely different things.

It mattered so much to me that I wrote my 19-page capstone project on “transfer practice” for my PGA Teaching & Coaching Certification AFTER completing all three levels as a PGA Associate.

Blessed that this is where my background separates me a little. Almost 11 years as a tour professional gave me experience far beyond textbook coaching material. I lived the pressure. The travel. The scoring. The uncomfortable situations you simply cannot recreate on a driving range or traditional golf practice facility.

Because at the end of the day…
a pretty swing on the range means very little if it doesn’t transfer onto the golf course.

Just a few short sessions ago, this player started her journey under my “No Clubs, No Problem” initiative with nothing but a willingness to learn.

Fast forward to today:
✔️ Own set of clubs
✔️ Out on the golf course
✔️ FIRST PAR officially secured 😎

This is exactly why I love growing the game. Watching someone go from “I’ve never done this before” to creating real moments on the course is the coolest part of coaching.
