We are pleased to report that Dwight Merkel Sports Complex has been cleared and is safe to resume normal operations as of this morning.

We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding following yesterday's fire in the natural area near the complex. Thanks to the efforts of our emergency responders and partner agencies, the situation has been resolved, and the facility is once again open for regular use.

All scheduled activities will proceed as normal moving forward unless otherwise communicated.

Thank you for your cooperation and flexibility during this situation.

ADULT SOFTBALL ALERT: Out of an abundance of caution and per the Parks Director's directive, all games scheduled at Dwight Merkel Sports Complex have been cancelled for this evening due to the nearby fire. Games at Franklin Park will still be played as scheduled. Games that were cancelled tonight will be played next Tuesday, June 23rd. Thank you.
