At Hamptons Jiu-Jitsu, promotions are earned - not scheduled, and sometimes not expected.

Jiu-Jitsu is a long game. People train around work schedules, families, injuries, travel, comps and seasons - especially out here in the Hamptons. Progress doesn’t stop because a calendar says so.

Sometimes Promotions happen before a class.
Sometimes they happen quietly after class.
Sometimes they happen at a competition.
Sometimes they happen at a Seminar or Event.
Sometimes they happen when you least expect it.

That’s intentional.
