The Kyle Cason Crew has the distinct honor of officiating the CIF-Southern Section (CIF-SS) SoCal Ford Game of the Week on Friday, August 21, 2026.

The Mission Viejo Diablos defeated the Chaparral Pumas 55-17 with the game played at Mission Viejo High School.

The Don Douglas Crew opened the 2026 season with a bang, officiating the Jones (Orlando, FL) vs. Santa Margarita game. The defending CIF State Champion Eagles defeated the Tigers 27-0.

The Troy Leonard crew had the honor and privilege to open the 2026 season officiating the Corona Centennial vs. Servite game. Corona Centennial won the game 41-21 over Servite to open the season.

OCFOA Officials Featured in Referee Magazine

On pages 58-59 of the May 2026 edition of Referee Magazine, officials (L-R) Bob Biggio, Jim Stickney, Chris Salio and Dan Pulos, were pictured in the article "The Right Mix".

The article touched on the points of emphasis crew chiefs should consider when aspiring to become a crew chief, inheriting a standing crew, putting together a crew from the ground up or adding a new crew member to an existing crew.

Entering the 2026 season, OCFOA fields 26 standing crews along with a training crew for those officials aspiring to join a tackle football crew. If you would like to officiate high school football, tackle or flag, it's not too late to sign up.

Through continuing education outside of the normal rules instruction curriculum, OCFOA members were treated to a presentation by long time Orange County High School coaches Kurt Westling & Dave Brown last night.
