Tonight we celebrated the 2026 Lady Cubs Softball season — the memories, the growth, and the incredible group of girls who made this year so special. 💙🥎

We’ve still got one more regular season game to play on Friday, but it was so much fun getting together to celebrate an unforgettable season so far.

A huge thank you to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church for hosting us and to the City of South Charleston, WV for helping keep our girls cool this summer with pool passes to Little Creek Pool! ☀️🏊‍♀️

🔥 Varsity Player of the Game: Lena Diehl

Varsity came up short, but Lena went 3-for-4, played strong defense, and brought great energy all game. Proud of the way she showed up 💙

💥 JV Player of the Game: Lauryn Guthrie

JV gets the win 🙌 Lauryn made great plays at 2nd and continues to push past her fears and grow every game. Love to see it 👏

Cubs take down AJ, 13-9!

Bats were hot 🔥 and the energy was high from the first pitch to the last. This team came ready to compete and it showed.

Didn’t get the result we wanted, but plenty to be proud of tonight. 💪🥎

Leneica Jones and Skyleigh Monk held it down in the outfield with some clutch plays, and Aubree Boggess came through with a great hit at the plate.

We keep building. We keep getting better. 🐾
