Yesterday was National Coaches Day!

Dover Baseball is filled with men and women who donate a lot of their time and energy to the players of our league.

Thank you for teaching the game, building confidence, demonstrating sportsmanship, and encouraging teamwork.

We are very grateful for all that you do!

Twenty-Five years ago today, our nation experience a tragedy that forever changed America.

We remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost. We honor the first responders who ran toward danger, the heros who emerged in the hours and days followed, and the families who have carried the weight of that day for the last 25 years.

To our players, September 11th is history. It's an event that happened long before they were born. It is our responsibility to make sure they understand why this day matters and why we promised we would never forget.

Today we pause to remember, and we can look back on how baseball helped our nation heal in those early days.

The boys had a tough game and lost to Denver 7-1 last night.

While we collected 5 hits to their 6, it was the frustrating part of baseball where they came at the wrong times.

Sonny Ivers was 2-2. Andy Curry, Tucker Lewis, Kamden Carriero each added one as well.

Tucker pitched 4 innings and struck out 6. Andy came in for relief and struck out 1.

Funny how more baseball can pick your spirits up. The boys watched Mexico v Puerto Rico on the way out which had energy for days!

Boys will play California tonight at 4:30 CST / 5:30 EST.

The boys have played immediately after Japan in both of their games. Fist Bumps for all 👊🏼

They love seeing all the different teams here, especially International.

There are 3 other teams in our hotel. Parents and Players always check in and ask how everyone played.

Much love to the Cal Ripken Community.
