Silver Bowl

11/02/2026

We had our conference match today in International Falls.

The JV team took 2nd place.

The Varsity also took 2nd place so neither of us received an automatic bid for the State Tournament. However, due to the Varsity’s performance over the season they may qualify for the State Tournament by average. Stay tuned in about a week or so.

We had a great first season back since 2019, with 9 kids coming out and being able to field a competitive Varsity and 4 on the JV. All 9 should be coming back next year and we will be adding at least 1 more.

Congrats to the kids for their hard work this season!

Keenan won his spot to bowl in Junior Gold for 2027, both Keenan and Emsley cashed in the Matt Lang tournament and Keenan also placed 2nd in the 9-pin tournament on Sunday.

Keenan used his Motiv Top Thrill Pearl and Motiv Lethal Venom.

We bowled in our 2nd high school meet since coming back from a 7 year hiatus!

Last week was rough, but this week we made some improvements. For Varsity we had a high game of 246 and averaged 170 over the 15 games!

We also put together an emerging Junior Varsity team and they bowled well with a high game of 162 and averaged 130 through their 15 games!

Our next meet is a double header in Duluth on October 3rd!

We have an exciting upgrade we managed to do over the summer. 6/8 of our lanes now have positive ball lifts on the front end instead of Magic Circles! Thanks to Neil’s help we were able to install and get these running in time for the upcoming season. We also did a full screen and recoat on the approaches!

Here are some photos of the work.

We look forward to seeing all of you soon!
