Well maintained regulation golf course in a Northwoods setting. Fun to play among Northwoods wildlife and scenery.

The Silver Bay Golf Course was built in 1959 by the Reserve Mining Company and has matured into one of the finest 9 hole layouts in the State of Minnesota. The Golf Course, which opened to the public in 1983, is now owned by the City of Silver Bay, and remains a public facility. The golf course is a very well maintained, regulation par 36 that measures 3,173 from the back tees. Surrounded by heavily forested hills, and laid out across the east branch of the Beaver River, the golf course offers both natural beauty as well as a fair challenge to the golfers that visit. In 1999 the City completed construction of a spacious driving range adjacent to the golf course. Come early to work out the kinks, before hitting the links.

On Saturday our course hosted the 2026 Silver Bay Mariners M Club fund raiser golf scramble. 20 four person teams competed on a beautiful day. Thanks to all the participants, hole sponsors, business donations and former alumni that donated to our athletic programs. See you next year!
