Dezz brings an elite mindset, a wealth of sports science knowledge, and a serious winning pedigree to our facility. 🏆 The Resume of a Champion
Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, Dezz is no stranger to the grind it takes to win at the highest levels. Throughout his football journey, he has been a vital part of winning programs, earning 5 championship titles along the way:
High School Powerhouse: At Mallard Creek High School, Dezz won two state championships and mastered the core values of hard work, accountability, and holding oneself to a high standard.
College & Expertise: He continued his football career at Elizabeth City State University (ECSU) before transferring to North Carolina Central University, where he studied Sports Science. He also completed extensive coursework through NASM, deepening his mastery of athletic performance and training.
The Pro Level: Dezz took his talents to professional arena football. After workouts with elite organizations like the Northern Arizona Wranglers and Albany Empire, he played professionally in Atlanta, Georgia, with the Peach State Cats—where he captured three more championships.
🎯 His Mission at REPS Gym
Dezz has been actively working in the community with youth since 2021, helping kids and young athletes get stronger, build confidence, and reach their goals through fitness. When he returned to Charlotte during his journey, he continued training clients both in the gym and out on the field, focusing on pushing them to improve both physically and mentally. Whether you are a young athlete trying to make the varsity squad, a college hopeful prepping for the next level, or just looking to unlock your true athletic potential, Coach Dezz has the blueprint.

Congratulations to REPS Athlete and Trainer Deztany Toyota-Villalobos on a great sophomore HS year. She maintained a 4.33 GPA , became state champion in track in the 100M and 200M, won 5A State Flag Football Player of the year, set seven school records and more. Dez won Cochise County Best in Preps awards this last weekend. Female Athlete of the Year, Flag Football Offensive Player of the Year, Flag Football Defensive Player of the Year and Female Track Athlete of the Year this past weekend. Congratulations and job well done. We are so proud of you.

At REPS we just don't talk about it, we make it happen. The results is the proof.

Today we added another athlete to the REPS Wall of Fame. Jessa Holt had been putting in work and getting better and better all around. Last night REPS hosted two of the Gridiron Desert Elite girls teams and it was a great time. Bad weather doesn't stop the training. If you want your kids to learn from the best, REPS and GDE is where you want to be.
