We want to thank Rob and Jason for the opportunity to take them on their first ever Black Bear hunt. Congratulations to you both on some great bears, good shooting and all around good guys. Loved having you both in camp and look forward to doing it again next year.

I can’t describe the feeling when you accomplish a goal that has taken you literally on a 30yr journey. I love chasing big mule deer with a bow though guiding gets in the way often times. watching clients harvest good bucks has carried me through a lot of the times that I didn’t get to hunt personally. But this buck has been a dream a long time coming. This bucks main beams are as long as his width and his mass doesn’t disappoint. I chased this buck for 4-5 days and to harvest an animal you target is just icing on the top. A few years back I harvest a solid mule deer in the velvet and figured that would be the best I would do for a long time just becuz I am always restricted on time to hunt but having harvested this buck is truly a blessing. I am just that guy the doesn’t
shoot big animals. My clients and my close friends and family do but I am just that guy and if you know what I am talking about you know. I am blessed and so appreciative of the opportunity to have harvested him. I don’t mount many animals in all honesty I only have a coues whitetail my daughter harvest some time back but I look forward to seeing this buck on my wall.

We want to congratulate Green Bean (Sabrina) on her first Javelina. She drew a youth Javelina tag and took her sow at 94 yds. She was extremely disciplined on her shot waiting out a group of 8 pigs bedded and stacked like cord wood. This young lady is becoming quite the huntress. Again congratulations Sabrina on a nice Javelina.
